Student interviews student
Andrea is my Norwegian student. She is a professional translator from Segovia, Spain.
Hans-Petter is is my Spanish student. He is a Norwegian journalist at the Norwegian National Broadcasting NRK.
In this video, Hans-Petter interviews Andrea in his native language, Norwegian. This interview was held in January 2022 when Andrea had never been to Norway or Scandinavia yet.
Andrea started to study Norwegian from scratch with me in 2017 when we both lived in Barcelona, Spain. Since then she started to take two sessions per week nearly uninterrupted.
I love taking students from point zero. It is like being given a brand new computer in which you have the freedom, the space and the responsibility to install, save and organize everything in the right way and the right order to make its performance optimal.
We did a thorough process to get the pronunciation right from the very beginning. This made it actually easier to save and mechanize the very basics of the language in general. Lots of cultural insight were provided all throughout the process to make it interesting and possible for her to understand the "why" of the words and expressions we learned.

Location: At MMlanguages in Grünerløkka by Birkelunden Park, Oslo (trams 11, 12 and 18, bus 30, three minutes away), or
on-site (at the place of convenience for the student).
Purpose: To accurately assess your level. Determine
course practicalities (when, where). Talk about the classes, the courses, the method, or ask any questions you might have.
